How to delete shared workout plans in RepRest

RepRest is a local-first strength training tracker and rest timer. The app currently does not use user accounts. Most data, including workout records, training history, unshared workout plans, and app settings, is stored on your device.

What Data Can Be Deleted From RepRest Servers

RepRest uploads data to its servers only when you choose to use Workout Plan Sharing and generate a share code for a workout plan. The uploaded data is the shared workout plan, which may include the plan name, exercise names, sets, reps, weight or notes, rest times, training day arrangement, and notes you entered.

This page explains how to delete shared workout plans uploaded through share codes. Deleting a shared workout plan from RepRest servers does not delete or change workout records, training history, unshared workout plans, app settings, or other data stored locally on your device.

How to Delete a Shared Workout Plan

1. Open RepRest.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Plan Sharing.
4. Open Share Records.
5. Find the shared workout plan you want to delete.
6. Tap the delete button.

After Deletion

After you delete a shared workout plan, RepRest will remove that shared plan from its servers. The original share code will no longer be able to access or import the plan.

This deletion only applies to the shared workout plan uploaded through Workout Plan Sharing. It does not affect training data that remains on your device.

Share Codes

Because RepRest currently does not use user accounts, shared workout plans are identified by share codes. Please keep your share codes private and store them carefully.

If you lose a share code, RepRest may not be able to identify or delete the shared plan unless you provide enough information to locate it.
