Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RepRest, also known in Chinese as 组间记, handles information when you use the RepRest mobile app. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
Overview
RepRest is a strength training set tracking and rest timer app. The app does not require account sign-in and does not contain ads. RepRest is local-first: most workout data is stored on your device. RepRest only uploads a workout plan to our servers when you choose to create a sharing code for that plan.
Information Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored primarily on your device so RepRest can provide its core features:
- Workout records and training history
- Workout plans and templates that you have not shared
- App settings
- Language and theme preferences
- Haptic feedback preference
- Timer and reminder preferences
Workout Plan Sharing
RepRest includes an optional workout plan sharing feature. If you choose to generate a sharing code for a workout plan, that specific plan is uploaded to RepRest's servers so people with the sharing code can view or import it.
A shared workout plan may include the plan name, exercise names, sets, reps, weight notes, rest times, training day arrangement, and notes you entered in the plan. Do not include sensitive personal information in plan names, exercise names, or notes.
The sharing feature does not automatically upload workout records, workout history, personal training performance, app settings, or other local data. Only the workout plan you actively choose to share is uploaded.
Anyone who has the sharing code may be able to access the shared plan. Server storage is used only to support sharing code access, import, and deletion. RepRest does not sell shared plan data or use it for advertising profiles.
Notifications and Haptic Feedback
RepRest uses notifications only to remind you when a rest timer or quick timer ends. Vibration and haptic feedback are used only for local interaction feedback inside the app.
Support Emails
If you contact support by email, we will process your email address and message content only to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in support messages unless it is necessary for your request.
Data Deletion
Because RepRest does not require an account and stores workout data primarily on your device, you can delete local data by deleting the app data through your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

Deleting Shared Workout Plans
You can delete a workout plan that you shared by going to Settings → Plan Sharing → Share Records → Delete in the app. The app will call RepRest's deletion service to delete the shared plan from our servers.
Shared plans are deleted based on the sharing code. After deletion, the shared plan can no longer be accessed or imported using the original sharing code.
Because RepRest currently does not have an account system, the sharing code is the credential used to identify and delete a shared plan. Please keep sharing codes with care. If a sharing code is lost, RepRest may not be able to locate and delete the corresponding shared plan unless you can provide enough information for us to identify it.
Data Security
RepRest uses HTTPS for data transmission related to workout plan sharing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures appropriate for this limited sharing feature.
Children's Privacy
RepRest is intended for general strength training use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has contacted us or provided personal information through support email, please contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
Future Features
Future features, such as account sync or analytics, may require additional changes to this Privacy Policy before those features launch. If we introduce such features, we will update this policy to explain what information is processed and why.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will indicate the latest version published at this page.
